The Pixar Play Zone now opens for kids at the Contemporary at Disney World
The Pixar Play Zone program has started at the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney Resort.
Kids ages 4–12 can star in an adventure-packed evening, including interactive fun, arcade games and dinner from 6 to 10:30 p.m. While the kids play, parents can enjoy their own getaway night.
The Pixar Play Zone features various themed rooms.
The Living Room is where Space Ranger Training teaches kids what it takes to become a Jr. Space Ranger of Star Command, including how to identify enemies, like Zurg. Woody and Jessie will show them the ropes of the Wild West during Woody’s Roundup – complete with a sing-along.
Bonnie’s Play Room is where there will be a variety of toys for children.
Radiator Springs Racetrack is located next to the living room and where youngsters can build their own racecars and take turns sending them down a soapbox derby racetrack for Piston Cup Derby Races.
The evening builds to an Incredibles Super Dance Party where kids learn super sweet moves with Mr. Incredible and Mrs. Incredible.
Doors open for registration at 5 p.m. nightly. Children must be toilet-trained. Activities and entertainment are subject to change. The immersive Pixar Play Zone experience costs $65 plus tax per child. Availability is limited and reservations are strongly recommended, by calling 407-824- KIDS (5437).
