Photos: Service dogs have fun-filled field trip to Disneyland
A group of puppies in training to become service dogs recently took a field trip to Disneyland as part of their training and were allowed a little down time to wag their tale and have some fun.
The service dogs are part of the “Canine Companions for Independence,” a non-profit group that trains dogs to help children, veterans and adults with disabilities open doors, pick up dropped items and much more.
The trip to Disneyland with their handlers is part of the program to demonstrate their social skills and get them used to new people, sights and smells. Their trip was posted on Twitter and needless to say the pups have become media darlings.

The dogs donned Mickey Mouse ears and were able to meet a number of characters including, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Chip ‘n’ Dale.
Here’s a closer look at their trip.
