New planet debuting for Star Wars projection show during Galactic Nights
A new planet will debut during the projection show on the one-night special Star Wars: Galactic Nights event taking place at Hollywood Studios in Disney World.
The name of the planet has not yet been announced for the show, Star Wars: Galactic Destinations. The show takes place on the Hollywood Tower Hotel where projections, special effects and lighting display various planets and destinations across the Star Wars galaxy.
The May 27 event will see the premiere of a new plant, according to Disney Parks Blog.May 27.
Star Wars: Galactic Nights is a Star Wars-themed event held after park hours from 7 p.m. with special entertainment, special photo opportunities, event-exclusive merchandise and character encounters.
In addition to the new planet debuting, there will new talent for the Star Wars galaxy making a special appearance during the event; special characters will be available to meet, including Darth Vader, Rey, Captain Phasma, the 7th Sister, AWR Stormtroopers and Ewoks; Droid Builders returns with special replica robots; the Seize the Saga Scavenger hunt returns with a new immersive photo location; and special food will be available.
Tickets are available at $129 for adults and $124 for children ages 3-9 (discounts available for annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club members).
