runDisney Virtual Running Shorts returns this summer

Have you always wanted to enter a Disney race but were too worried about not being able to finish, or being embarrassed? No worries.

runDisney is again offering up its Virtual Running Shorts series this summer for you to go out and do some running, or walking, on your own time in three 5K runs.

You get to choose how you go out and participate, it could be around your neighborhood, on local trails, around a track or even on a treadmill. The idea is to get out and move. You can sign up for one of three races, or do the ultimate challenge and run all three 5K races within a specific time frame.

Each race you sign up for comes with a medal for completion and there is a special medal for finishing all three. The medals are based on “The Incredibles 2” coming out this year.

The first race needs to be completed from June 1 to June 30, 2018, and celebrates Elastigirl. The second race needs to be completed from July 1 to July 31,2018, and celebrates Mr. Incredible. The third race needs to be completed from August 1 to August 31, 2018, and celerbatesDash and Jack Jack.

Entry fees are $40 per race or $142 for all three races. Registration begins May 1, 2018 and can be done through the runDisney website.
