Google Street View Maps now include Disney parks
You can now virtually stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom using Google Maps.
Today, Google announced that Street View will be available at 11 Disney Parks. Street View is featured on Google Maps and gives you a 360-degree view from points on streets and walkways.
“We’re all about new fantastic points of view. Today Street View is going the distance, from California to Florida, to make Disney part of your world. Be our guest at 11 Disney Parks, and with Street View, anything your heart desires will come to you—castles, rides, attractions to infinity and beyond.”
Now, this is probably still a work in progress. At this point, it is not everywhere and not as easy to use as strolling down the streets near your home. We hope over time this will expand. People with Street View packs have been seen walking around various Disney Parks in the past few years.
Here are some the areas you can now explore:
• Epcot
• A Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Hollywood Studios
• Pandora- The World of Avatar
• Guardians of the Galaxy at California Adventure
• Disneyland – Mickey and Minnie’s houses
