New Lamplight Lounge coming to Pixar Pier at California Adventure

The new Pixar Pier opening June 23 at California Adventure in Disneyland will have a new seaside lounge as well.

The Lamplight Lounge replaces the Cove Bar at the entrance to Pixar Pier. The new lounge will serve will serve California casual gastro-pub cuisine with signature cocktails. Be happy, the lobster nachos will remain on the menu.

The story behind the lounge is that it “celebrates the creativity, inspirations, and personalities of the artists and storytellers who have brought Pixar stories to life. Guests will discover the artistic marks that the Pixar ‘regulars’ have left throughout the lounge: concept art, a quick sketch on a napkin, knick-knacks and collectible toys of beloved Pixar characters will adorn the space,” the Disney Parks Blog explains. 

The Lamplight Lounge will open on June 23 with the rest of Pixar Pier. The Cove Bar will open one more time briefly starting March 16 before closing again at the end of may for the renovation.
