Disney will have special Extra Magic Hours in July for Toy Story Land
Disney World will open up Hollywood Studios at 7 a.m. in July for those staying at Disney World and select resorts to allow them the opportunity to see the new Toy Story Land.
Toy Story Land opens June 30, 2018, and Disney is expanding its Extra Magic Hours program every day in the month of July from 7 a..m. to 8 a.m. Park hours for the month of July will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Extra Magic Hours is a program for guests staying at select Disney World resort hotels and other the opportunity to enter the park and ride select rides one hour before the theme park normally opens. It is unusual for the theme park to have Extra Magic Hours every day. This decision looks like it is an attempt to get as many people into the park during the busy summer months as possible.
The Extra Magic Hour program was recently expanded for the year to the Disney Springs Resorts. Here is the daily opening and closing calendar for Hollywood Studios for the summer.
Toy Story Land will be the latest land to open at Disney World. The 11-acre land will make guests feel as if they are in Andy’s backyard from the “Toy Story” films.
There will be three rides, the new Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster built from a coaster play set and a Slinky Dog ride vehicle. The new Alien Swirling Saucers attraction is a galactic play set that Andy won from Pizza Planet. The little green aliens swirl about in their flying saucers with guests in tow in their rocket ship toys, while “The Claw” hangs overhead. And Toy Story Mania.
