‘Black Panther’ continues to break box office records

Marvel’s “Black Panther” continues to break box office records delivering the second largest second-weekend take of all time with an estimated $108 million.

It also joins “Jurassic World” as the second fastest film to top $400 million domestically, according to Boxofficemojo.com.

Black Panther is no the fifth highest grossing movie in the Maevel Cinematic Universe and will soon be jumping over those just ahead very soon.

So far here’s what the top five Marvel films domestic gross:

  1. Marvel’s The Avengers – $623,357,910
  2. Avengers: Age of Ultron – $459,005,868
  3. Iron Man 3 – $409,013,994
  4. Captain America: Civil War – $408,084,349
  5. Black Panther – $400,000,422

Internationally, the movie is doing very strong. It now ranks 9th in worldwide gross of all MCU movies, but it still is waiting to open in Japan next weekend and China on March 9.
