Some non-Disney World resort guests will get Extra Magic Hours, 60-day FastPass+ window

Those staying at Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels at Disney World will receive some perks in 2018 that are now provided to those staying at Walt Disney World owned resorts and the Swan and Dolphin hotels.

These perks include Extra Magic Hours benefits and the ability to make FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to arrival. These benefits go into effect Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2018.

According to Disney: “Walt Disney World^® Resort is where treasured stories magically come to life at four not-to-be-missed Theme Parks, two Water Parks, plus unique shops, eclectic dining, and exciting entertainment. And as a Guest of a Disney Springs Resort Area Hotel, you can enjoy Extra Magic Hours benefit from January 1- December 31, 2018 with valid theme park admission and Extra Magic Hours benefit voucher.

“With Extra Magic Hours benefit, each day one of the theme parks stays open longer so you can enjoy select attractions.  Embark on more adventures. And make more dreams come true. To see when Extra Magic Hours benefit is offered for each Disney Theme Park, you can view the Extra Magic Hours calendar at disneyworld.com/parkhours, or check the Walt Disney World^® Resort Times Guide available in the lobby.”

In addition: “Scheduled to begin Jan. 10, 2018, Walt Disney Travel Company packages are available for online bookings for the Disney Springs® Resort Area hotels. Also, scheduled to begin Jan. 10, 2018, Guests at these Official WALT DISNEY WORLD hotels, who have booked a package reservation for the hotel through a Walt Disney Travel Company package, will be able to link their hotel reservation on My Disney Experience, and with a linked, valid theme park ticket, these Guests can utilize a 60-day booking window for FastPass+ selections. These are benefits that are already available to Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel Guests.”
