6 cool things about Disney Cruises in 2018
Marvel, Star Wars, new ports of call and special holiday treats await those planning a Disney Cruise for 2018.
Here’s a quick look at a half-dozen things happening on the cruise line in 2018:
Marvel Day at Sea
Marvel Day at Sea returns on the Disney Magic for eight voyages from Miami departing January through April 2018. All-day entertainment includes interactions with Marvel Super Heroes and the foes who oppose them, a deck show spectacular, Marvel-themed youth activities, special merchandise and unique food and beverage offerings.
Star Wars Day at Sea
Star Wars Day at Sea returns on the Disney Fantasy for 15 sailings from January through April 2018. The day-long celebration celebrates the legendary adventures and iconic characters from the Star Wars saga. New in 2018, Rey will take the stage in the “Summon the Force” nighttime deck show.
Tangled coming to the sea
In March some changes will be coming to the Disney Magic, including a dining experience for families at the new Rapunzel’s Royal Table, the first table service restaurant themed to “Tangled” that features characters and live entertainment
New Itineraries and Ports
In 2018, the cruise line will make first-time visits to destinations in Italy and Ireland during the summer and to Bermuda and Quebec City, Canada in the fall.
Halloween on the High Seas
From September through October, Disney ships transform to celebrate Halloween with specially themed parties, special entertainment, and unique menu and elaborate decor.
Very Merrytime Cruises
Starting in early November, after Halloween, the ships are again transformed for Christmas feasts, “snow flurries” and New Year’s Eve galas.
