Disney Magic cruise ship is getting a ‘Tangled’ makeover
The Disney Magic ship is adding a Tangled-themed family restaurant, a new space for teens and new cafe for adults, the Disney Cruise Line announced.
The new enhancements debut on Disney Magic starting March 9, 2018, on sailings from Miami, Fla.
Rapunzel’s Royal Table
This all be the first table service restaurant themed to “Tangled” and will feature characters and live entertainment with an evening of music and interactive fun with Rapunzel and the Snuggly Duckling Thugs.
The restaurant will look like a ballroom in the royal castle, lit with wish lanterns and adorned with drawings that reflect Rapunzel’s artistic talents. Throughout dinner, with a special themed menu, there will be live entertainment with singing and dancing from the Snuggly Duckling Thugs and Princess Rapunzel.
Redesigned teens area
The area of the ship reserved for teens ages 14-17 , Vibe, is being transformed into a trendy urban loft environment. Teens will be able to enjoy a new coffee and smoothie bar, play video and virtual reality games, and check out other activities like a DJ spin-off and movie making.
Refined adults only area
Cove Café is being redesigned into a tropical style where adults can come and grab a sip of specialty coffee or tea throughout the day, or indulge in wine or a cocktail and light bites during the evening hours.
