See the new Steiff Disney limited-edition collection
For the grown-ups among us who still love a plushy, thank goodness for Steiff. The storied company has a new set of Disney collectibles that make it respectable for an adult to buy a stuffed animal again.
The collection, which includes a 1934-style Mickey Mouse, debuted at July’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, and now it’s available on the new ShopDisney online store.
These are limited-edition collectibles, not toys, and the prices reflect that. But at least you won’t be spending $500 for something your kid will teethe on. (If you can’t stand the prices, Steiff also has a more reasonable Mickey Mouse plush for $69.99. In this case, both Mickey and his little teddy bear have a Steiff button in the ear.)
Still, we think this collectible version of Woody must say, “Reach for your wallet” instead of, “Reach for the sky.”
