Now you can adopt a Pandora banshee from Disney online

When Pandora — The World of Avatar opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom last spring, one of the most popular attractions was inside the gift shop: The Rookery, where guests could “adopt” a shoulder-sitting banshee to take home with them.

These take-home banshees can perch on your shoulder while you control their movements, making the neck swivel, mouth open and close and wings expand.

With lines stretching to hours long, every banshee in the Rookery was gone within days, and many showed up on eBay almost as quickly. But now you can adopt a Banshee at ShopDisney online.

Adopt a banshee online and it comes with the optional perch, bringing your price to $84.99. If you adopt a banshee at Windtraders in Pandora, the base price is $49.99.
