I’m a sweatshirt hoarder. I admit it. I could probably pay the mortgage this month if I sold all my Disney sweatshirts. (Hey, some of them are collectibles! Where were you in the year 2000?)
But I could almost be convinced to give them up to make room for my newest obsession: the hooded long-sleeve pullover t-shirt. I first found one at Disney World a couple of years ago; it was two shades of gray with a weathered classic Mickey on the front. I still wear it, and I still get compliments all the time. Yup, teenage guys tell this middle-aged Disney fan that her shirt is cool.
I’ve kept an eye out for new styles ever since, and this fall my patience has been rewarded. Maybe it’s because I live in Florida now, but these t-shirts are everywhere at the parks this year. I’ve included a few below that have made their way to the online store.
Not all of the designs I’ve seen at the parks lately are available online. My personal favorite is a reference to the Jungle Cruise: “If you don’t believe me … you’re in de-Nile.” We’re still watching for it to hit the online store or the parks app.
By the way, that original Mickey design? It’s still around. You can find it below.
