Where is Hurricane Irma? This animated map shows wind speeds

The winds from Hurricane Irma have reached central Florida,  according to the National Hurricane Center. 

Winds will be what the region needs to be most concerned about. As of 1 p.m. the storm was about 50 miles south of Naples, Florida with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph.

In the Disney World area you can expect 70 to 85 mph winds from 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10 to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11.
