Photos: Disney World unveils Toy Story Land model

Disney World has unveiled the model for the upcoming 11-acre Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.

This section of the park is scheduled to open in 2018 and will include two new rides, Alien Swirling Saucers and the Slinky Dog Dash.

The idea when entering the land is that you are in Andy’s backyard (from “Toy Story”)and shrunk to the save of your favorite toy and hen are invited by Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the Toy Story gang to enter for some adventures.

Here’s a closer look at at the model.

The coaster is being billed as family-friendly that will provide thrills when it goes around curves, uphills and down drops as it winds around th backyard.

The second ride is the Alien Swirling Saucers. The story goes Andy has collected enough game tickets at Pizza Planet to get the Alien Swirling Saucers (Home Edition), which has now landed in his backyard.

The game features Alien-Driven sauces whipping rockets around turntables while “The Claw” looms overhead ready to nab those who are “chosen.”
