Construction has been underway for the newest Disney Vacation Club project at Caribbean Beach Resort. Most of the work so far has been land clearing.
The resort is being carved out of the northwest area of the current Caribbean Beach Resort.
There will be about 300 units in total with a combination of Deluxe Studios, one- and two-bedroom Villas and three-bedroom Grand Villas. Concept art shows the buildings to be eight stories high. Most Disney resorts have their own pool, so that should be expected. There is usually a quick-service food area included for food and a sit-down restaurant.
The rooftop restaurant is supposed offer views of nighttime spectaculars a both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
The development is scheduled to open in the Fall 2019.
