
Walt Disney Company ranks high on list of ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’
The Walt Disney Company was ranked No. 5 on Fortune’s list of “World’s Most Admired Companies” for 2016.
The company moved up from No. 6 in 2015.
Under Fortune’s “Key Attributes of Reputation” Disney was ranked No. 1 in People Management, Use of Corporate Assets, Social Responsibility, Quality of Management, Financial Soundness, Long-Term Investment Value, Quality of Products/Services and Global Competitiveness. It was ranked No. 2 under Innovation.
Leading the list in order is: Apple, Google, Amazon and Berkshire Hathaway.
“The Most Admired list is the definitive report card on corporate reputations,” according to Fortune.
The rankings were conducted with the Korn Ferry Hay Group, a leading global management consulting firm that has overseen the research for the “World’s Most Admired Companies” list since 1997.
