Construction crews are now building a stage in Epcot for the production of “The CHEW.”
The ABC cooking show The CHEW will broadcast live from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Oct. 4 to 6, 2017 from 9 a.m. to noon The show airs at 1 p.m. ET
The stage being constructed is in front of the World Showcase Lagoon, behind the Mickey topiary.
Now in its seventh season. The CHEW explores life through food with celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon and Carla Hall and expert Clinton Kelly.
Batali is co-owner of 25 restaurants across the country, including his flagship New York City restaurant, Babbo. Batali has hosted a variety of television shows for Food Network, including “Ciao America” and “Molto Mario.”
Symon is the chef and owner of more than 18 restaurants, including Lola and Mabel’s BBQ in downtown Cleveland and Angeline at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. He also is an Iron Chef on Food Network.
Hall is best known as a competitor on Bravo’s “Top Chef,” where she won over audiences with her fun catch phrase, “Hootie hoo,” and her philosophy to always cook with love. Her cookbooks are “Carla’s Comfort Food: Favorite Dishes From Around the World” and “Cooking with Love: Kelly is well known for hosting TLC’s wildly popular makeover show “What Not to Wear” for 10 years. He is the author of five books, including his most recent compilation of personal essays, “I Hate Everyone, Except You.”
