Mobile ordering expanding to Hollywood Studios at Disney World week of Aug. 7

Disney’s new mobile food ordering from the My Disney Experience app is now expanding into Hollywood Studios.

Disney recently introduced the ability to order ahead through the app and set up mobile ordering at locations in Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney Springs.

Now, it will come to Hollywood Studios with the following restaurants and dates:
Backlot Express, starting Aug. 8, 2017

ABC Commissary, starting Aug. 14, 2017

PizzeRizzo, starting Aug. 15, 2017

Through the app guests can bypass the line to order when they arrive at the restaurant. You can elect menu items, customize the order and pre-pay for your meal. When you arrive at the restaurant you tap an “I’m here” button in the app, which will notify the kitchen to prepare the meal. When ready, you then receive an alert through the app to pick up the meal at a designated window.

You can only pay with a credit card and can not, as of yet, add any discounts or use for dining plans.

Here are the other restaurants where mobile ordering is available:

  • Columbia Harbour House, Magic Kingdom
  • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Magic Kingdom
  • D-Luxe Burger, Disney Springs
  • Electric Umbrella, Epcot
  • Flame Tree Barbecue, Animal Kingdom
  • Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, Magic Kingdom
  • Pinocchio Village Haus, Magic Kingdom
  • Pizzafari, Animal Kingdom
  • Restaurantosaurus, Animal Kingdom
