Disney World to replace Hocus Pocus merchandise with a free pin for those who went opening night of MNSSH

Disney has no explanation as to why the the Hocus Pocus merchandise that was supposed to be sold at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party never made it to shelves but will send those who attended a free Halloween pin in its place.

As we previously reported, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular merchandise, including two t-shirts, a pin, a tote bag, ornament and a 4,000 limited edition MagicBand 2, were supposed to debut at the Aug. 25, 2017 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. But, nothing was placed on the shelves.

Cast members Friday night said they had the merchandise, but were told not to stock the shelves.

Guest services Monday morning said they were told the merchandise will not be available anytime soon, without an explanation. But, Disney will issue you a free Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween pin in its place, if you attended the Aug. 25, 2017 event.

To get the free pin you need to call Merchandise Guest Services at 1-877-560-6477, provide your name and address and then e-mail in proof of your tickets. They will then send you the pin.
