California Adventure is getting a makeover for Halloween, see what it will look like
For the first time, Halloween will not only take over Disneyland, but California Adventure with Cars Land, Buena Vista Street and Guardians of the Galaxy getting makeovers.
To help you get an idea of what to expect, Disneyland has released some concept art.

The makeovers will take place Sept. 15 to Oct. 31.
The first change will be the entrance to the park where an oversized, shadowy silhouette of Oogie Boogie, from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas,” leering at guests passing through the main entrance. Oogie will appear to unleash a swarm of bats down Buena Vista Street towards Hollywood Land and Cars Land. The sound of bats flying will be heard down the street and there are supposed to be some bats circling the tower of Carthay Circle Theatre.
Along Buena Vista Street, Halloween decorations will adorn store windows and there will be a new 10-foot-tall statue of the Headless Horseman at Carthay Circle.
Over at Cars Land, Scary the “Scare-car” will greet guests at the entrance of Route 66. Each of the Cars has decorated its establishment for the season. With Fillmore showing off his Jack-Oil-Lanterns and ghostly folk art, Sarge displaying his “pump-kins,” and a Spider-Car spinning webs all over the outside of Flo’s V8 Café,.

Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree transforms for the first time for Halloween and becomes Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree with some creepy, new songs and twists on other hits,.
Cars characters will be donning their Halloween “car-stumes” as they greet guests and prepare to go “trunk-or-treating.”
The Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, which opened in May, is getting changed into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. But that happens only at night. During the day, the rides stays as the original, but after the sun goes down, the Collector’s Fortress goes dark, alarms sound and all-new lighting on the exterior of the Fortress alerts guests that something inside has gone awry.
