Tren-D boutique at Disney Springs now offering larger sizes
Good news for “Tren-D” girls who tend to be a bit curvier. The playful Tren-D boutique in Disney Springs at Disney World has finally started offering larger sizes.
Tren-D was conceived as an eclectic shop for teen and 20something women, but its bohemian styles often skewed slender — frustrating curvier women who noted in online reviews that the styles ran smaller than other Disney clothing.
But not anymore.
The store has finally expanded its selection to include a line of fun t-shirts in sizes up to 3X — and that’s thanks to guests speaking up and asking for it.
One cast member explained that the store was originally targeted to girls and women “from 13 to 30,” but many guests commented on how small the sizes ran. While many were available in sizes up to XL, the cut was quite a bit more slim than other Disney styles. It may have taken eight years (the store opened in 2009), but the boutique has finally become more size-inclusive.
The front table now features a collection of t-shirts in cotton and cotton-poly blend (a silkier t-shirt style) with sayings including “I live in Fantasyland” and “My happy place” under a drawing of Cinderella’s castle.
Now, maybe Tren-D will become a happy place for more guests than ever.
