New Italian restaurant opening in downtown Disney Springs in Fall 2017
A new Italian restaurant operated by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano will be opening at Disney Springs this fall, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
Terralina Crafted Italian will take the space previously occupied by Portobello Country Italian Trattoria in The Landing section of the food and entertainment district in Disney Wold.
The restaurant will be reminiscent of an Italian home, the Disney blog says, “with an open kitchen, dining rooms with eclectic décor and a new veranda bar outside the main entrance.”
Not only is Chef Mantuano returning curate the new menu, and Chef Justin Plank will be back to run the kitchen.
Two new signatures – mussels and a grilled pork chop – will be on the menu, along with favorites from Portobello. “Focusing on the hearth of the kitchen dishes will embody the passion and flare of the flames,” Mantuano said to the blog.
The restaurant is part of the Levy Restaurant company.
No opening date has been announced.
