Disney World unveils new merchandise for Epcot’s 35th anniversary
Disney World is taking us back to the 1980s in preparation for the 35th anniversary of Epcot.
The retro look will adorn the merchandise that will be available starting late September to commemorate Epcot’s anniversary on Oct. 1, 2017
“We wanted the art to have a distinct vintage feeling, and take its cues from artwork, logos, signage, and in-park graphics found in the early 1980s,” Eric Caszatt, Creative Manager with the Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media Creative Group told the Disney Parks Blog.
The five colors seen in the original merchandise, brochures and pins – purple, pink, red, orange, and gold – are all over the new merchandise.
