Disney Vacation Club opens 14th resort at Disney World
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in Disney World officially opened with 184 rooms, including Deluxe Studios, one- and two-bedroom Villas, three-bedroom Grand Villas and Waterfront Cabins.
Inspired by the Pacific Northwest, the resort features natural elements, such as wood and stone, in its design, according to a Disney news release.
“This resort offers the best of everything, including immersive theming, accommodations in a variety of sizes to suit any type of family, high-quality amenities, and the ideal waterfront location that is just around the river bend from Magic Kingdom Park,” Ken Potrock, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club, said.
The Deluxe Studios has room for up to four guests. The one- and two-bedroom Villas and three-bedroom Grand Villas are equipped with full kitchens, expanded storage space for belongings, and private patios or balconies with scenic views.
The 26 waterfront Cascade Cabins are two-bedroom, two-bath and sleep up to eight. The each have large dining and living room spaces, along with a screened-in wraparound porch. These cabins include a full kitchen, flat panel televisions, a washer and dryer, a hidden pull-down bed featuring artwork of Chip and Dale, a built-in hot tub on the porch and an indoor/outdoor fireplace.
The nearest park is the Magic Kingdom, which you would take by water taxi.
This is Disney World’s 14th resort. It has just announced its 15th DVC resort – the Riviera Resort.
