California man visits Disneyland for 2,000 consecutive days

How many days in a row do you think you could go to Disneyland?

A week, a month, a year? How about 5 years and 175 days? Huntington Beach, California resident Jeff Reitz visited the Disneyland Resort for 2,000 consecutive days.

Her started on Jan. 1, 2012 and June 22, 2017 marked 2,000 days. And it’s not over. Reitz said he plans to continue heading to Disneyland and California Adventure on a daily basis as long as he can.

The 44-year-old Air Force veteran works at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System and heads to the parks daily, according to the Associated Press.

He told Disney that he enjoys listening to the music as enters and like the friendly park cast members. His favorite ride – the Matterhorn Bobsleds. He has been riding it since was 2-years-old.

“I love sitting in the front row, holding the handle and leaning into the turns,” Reitz said in the AP report.

His advice to Disneyland guests

  • Get the Disneyland app for smartphones to keep up with wait times and ride closures and use the FastPass system to reserves times for the most popular attractions
  • Be patient. 
  • Relax.
  • Have fun.
