Photos of runners dressed as characters during the Star Wars Half Marathon
Runners dressed as Ewoks, Tie Fighters and even R2-D2 as part the Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side at Disney World this past weekend.
More than 45,500 runners participated in the event which included Kids Races, 5K, 10K and half marathon races and the runDisney Health and Fitness Expo.
Samuel Souza Do Nascimento won the 5K, 10K and half marathon. Sydney Devore, 25, of Lakeland, Fla. was the first female finisher of the 13.1-mile race, setting the race record with a winning time of 1:20:15.
