Disney to live stream ‘Wishes’ fireworks on March 23

Disney will once again live stream one of its Disney Parks events, this one will be the “Wishes” fireworks at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World.

The live stream will take place March 23, 2017 starting at 8:55 p.m. on the Disney Parks Blog website.

Wishes will end its run at Disney World on May 11, 2017. The 12-minute show how has been around in various forms since Oct. 9, 2003. Jiminy Cricket hosts the fireworks show, which focuses on the wishes of famous Disney characters – good and bad.

With changes coming
The new show “Happily Ever After” will debut May 12, 2017 and feature a new original score as adventures of Disney characters are retold.

The new 18-minute show will feature not only fireworks and lasers but scenes projected on the 18-story Cinderella Castle from 25 Disney films, including: “Moana,” “Brave,” “Big Hero 6,” “Zootopia,” “The Princess & The Frog” and “Aladdin.”

The Disney Parks Blog said after the “Wishes” live stream it will have an update on the new fireworks show.
