Disney is getting topiaries ready for 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival
Topiary specialists are putting final touches on the nearly 100 topiaries which will dot the landscape around Epcot during the 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
The 90-day festival runs from March 1 to May 29. Disney has released two photos of workers getting the topiaries ready.
A new Belle topiary, based on “Beauty and the Beast,” will grace the entrance of the France Pavilion Topiary artists have found new ways to use a wider variety of plant materials to represent character topiary facial features.
In the second photo, a worker at the Walt Disney World Horticulture Center blends color and adds detail that enhances the natural organic material used in the Mickey Mouse topiary.
