Disneyland’s Rivers of America attractions have a timeframe for reopening

Disney has set a timeframe for the reopening of Disneyland’s Rivers of America attractions: Summer 2017. The attractions reopening next summer include:

• The Disneyland Railroad
• Fantasmic!
• Mark Twain Riverboat and Sailing Ship Columbia
• Pirate’s Lair and Tom Sawyer Island
• Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes. 

The attractions have been closed for most of this year.

When it reopens, Disneyland Railroad will travel over an elevated trestle along a new riverbank. We wonder if eagle-eyed visitors will be able to catch a glimpse of construction on Star Wars land, on the other side of the new riverbank.
