Paddlefish will open Feb. 4 at Disney Springs in Disney World
The newly renovated Paddlefish restaurant, formerly known as Fulton’s Crab House, at Disney Springs at Disney World, will open Feb. 4, 2017.
The seafood restaurant has undergone an extensive, multimillion-dollar transformation. “We’re excited to embark upon Paddlefish’s next voyage, and can’t wait for guests to share this new experience with us,” Andy Lansing, president and CEO of Levy Restaurants, which owns the restaurant, said in a news release.
The new menu will feature fresh seafood including Maine lobster, King and Snow crabs, sea bass and salmon, and some old favorites like Lobster Corn Dogs and Crab Legs from Fulton’s Crab House.
“It’s been incredible to have this opportunity to not only completely redevelop the menu, but also the kitchen design to accommodate it,” Executive Chef Mark Boor said in the release.
The restaurant renovation is inspired by a modern, seafaring yacht. Features include opening up all of the windows for an open-air feel and bar areas decorated with brass accents that resemble fish gills.
The restaurant was opened by Levy Restaurants on March 10, 1996 in the full-size replica of a paddle boat.
The boat, which is really a boat-shaped building on a concrete foundation, opened as The Empress Lilly on May 1, 1976 and closed on April 22, 1995.
Paddlefish will be open for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch.
