Disneyland introducing electronic FASTPASS – for a price
Disneyland will soon make the electronic FASTPASS available – for a price.
Disney World has done away with the physical FASTPASS tickets by using MagicBands and electronic cards. It also allows guests to choose FASTPASS tickets via an app. Disneyland later this year will introduce mobile booking and redemption of FastPass tickets, but is bundling it unlimited downloads of PhotoPass images for the introductory price of $10, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
This FASTPASS-PhotoPass bundle is being called Disney MaxPass.
Under the system, guests would only be able to make reservations using Disney MaxPass when inside a Disneyland Theme Park. And, the rules of the system would remain the same, meaning you will only be able to reserve one FastPass at a time, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders will have the opportunity to purchase Disney MaxPass on a daily or yearly basis. That information has not been made available yet.
