Stars lend their names to Star Wars Fashion t-shirts and fundraiser

You can join the rebellion in style this month — and give to a good cause while you’re at it.

Disney, Target and the charity Star Wars: Force For Change have teamed up with 10 influential stars in film, music, fashion and sports to design a line of t-shirts to benefit UNICEF.

It’s all part of the lead-up to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” which opens in theaters Dec. 16. The film expands the Star Wars universe by introducing the rebels who first acquired the plans for the Death Star.

The t-shirt designs tap into the spirit of rebellion in the movie, especially the notion of “using a powerful slogan to represent the importance of standing up for what you believe in,” as Disney described it.

The t-shirts are now available at Target for $12.99 each. Five dollars from the sale of each shirt will be donated to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to support UNICEF Kid Power, an initiative designed to encourage kids to be more active while benefitting malnourished children around the world.

The Force 4 Fashion line was designed with support from Riz Ahmed, June Ambrose, Steve Aoki, Camilla Belle, Gareth Edwards, Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Olivia Munn, Kelly Slater, and Brittany Snow.
