Nalgene teams up with Marvel for ‘Heroes Hydrate!’ water bottles

Everybody carries a water bottle these days, but Nalgene was one of the originals. Its  wide-mouth 32-ounce bottles started showing up on hiking trails back in the 70s, when conservationists and outdoors enthusiasts had to order the products through medical-supply companies.

Today, it seems Nalgene Outdoors is trying to reassert its dominance — and attain a certain coolness factor — by launching a line of products inspired by Marvel superheroes.

The “Heroes Hydrate!” line includes Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk, Black Panther, Black Widow and the Avengers as a group.

The bottles are priced at $12.99 for 12-ounce kids bottles and $15 for 32-ounce wide-mouth bottles. All of Nalgene Outdoor’s products are BPA- and BPS- free, dishwasher safe and carry a lifetime guarantee.
