New band will play at Canada Pavilion at Epcot in Disney World starting Oct. 5, 2016

Disney is changing its entertainment once again on the Canada Pavilion stage in Epcot at Disney World.

Alberta Bound gave is last performance on Oct. 2, 2016 and the band Bodh’aktan will start to play later in October

Bodh’aktan’s music combines elements of Celtic, trad-Quebecois, polka, punk, Irish folk, Breton and Maritime. According to the band’s website, it was formed in 2011

The band was formed in 2011 and consists of Alexandre Richard (voice, acoustic guitar, bouzouki), Alain Barriault (electric and acoustic guitar, voice), Ben Claveau (voice and bass guitar), Marc Angers (fiddle and voice), Éric Gousy (drums and voice), Éric Tanguay (accordion, electric guitar and voice) and Luc Bourgeois (bagpipe, Irish whistle, electric guitar and voice), according to the band’s website.

The band will play Oct. 5 to Oct. 22, 2016, then go on hiatus and return Jan. 4 to Jan. 22, 2016, according to the website.

There is no indication of what type of entertainment will be on the stage during the holidays, but in the past the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs have performed.
