Disneyland merchandise events for September
New art, books and collectible figurines are in the spotlight at Disneyland’s merchandise events for September:
Downtown Disney
Sept. 2: Artists Joey Chou, Miss Mindy and David Lozeau are taking over WonderGround Gallery with live art performances and demonstrations from 7–10 p.m.
Weekends beginning Sept. 3: David Lozeau is the Artist in Residence for the month at WonderGround Gallery. Look for him from 6–10 p.m. Sept. 3-4, 9-11, 16-18, and 23.
Sept. 10-11 and 17-18: Steam Crow (Daniel and Dawna Davis) will be on hand for an Artist Showcase and Signing from 2–5 p.m. each day at WonderGround Gallery.
Sept. 10: Artists Daniel Davis, Max Grundy and Eunjung June Kim (whose work appears above) will be featured during an Artist Showcase and Signing event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at WonderGround Gallery.
Disneyland Park
Sept. 10: The authors of two new Disney books will be meeting with guests and signing books. Rebecca Cline and Steven B. Clark, authors of “The Walt Disney Studios: A Lot to Remember,” and Matthew Reinhart, author and illustrator of “Disney Frozen: A Pop-Up Adventure,” will be meeting with guests and signing books at Disneyana on Main Street, U.S.A. from 9-11 a.m. They will also appear at World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney District from 1-3 p.m. that day.
Sept. 10-11: Order a custom letter or ticket book plaque from artist Dave Avanzino during an Artist Showcase and Signing Event at Disneyana on Main Street, U.S.A. He will appear from noon to 7 p.m. on Sept. 10. Look for Dave from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 11.
Sept. 16-18: Precious Moments doll designer Linda Rick will introduce two new dolls inspired by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse (above) from noon to 10 p.m. each day at China Closet on Main Street, U.S.A.
