New Star Wars Land concept art for Disneyland is released

Disneyland has released a new concept image (see below) of the Star Wars Land being constructed at the theme park.

The new art, according to the Disney Parks Blog, was placed on the fence near the Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland.

The 14-acre Star Wars Land is supposed to be an immersive experience and take guests into a new Star Wars planet. There will be two major rides, one that puts guests behind the controls of the Millennium Falcon and another that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

You can take plenty of time analyzing the photo and see a number of things:

  • What the entry way from the Frontierland area would look like.
  • How the land will be situated in relation to the Rivers of America. (That is unless Disneyland makes some major changes on the waterway.)
  • What the entryway to the Millennium Falcon ride will look like.
  • How the shopping areas will look like
  • That a large portion of this land will be inside.
  • A new mountain range is being erected to bring to life a new plant ( and we know how good Disney is at creating a mountain range if you’ve ever seen Radiator Springs Racers at California Adventure.
