Disneyland and Disney World to hold special previews of upcoming ‘Pete’s Dragon’ film
The sneak peek series at Disneyland and Disney World continues on July 1 with a preview of the upcoming remake “Pete’s Dragon.”
At Disneyland, the 10-minute preview will be shown in 3-D with special effects at the Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land in California Adventure. Ad Disney World, the movie will be presented at Hollywood Studios as part of One Man’s Dream attraction.
The movie stars Robert Redford as Mr. Meacham, a wood carver who has told local children stories of a fierce dragon in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. Bryce Dallas Howard place his daughter, a forest ranger who has had enough of the tall tales until she meets the mysterious 10-year-old Pete, played by Oakes Fegley. The two find that Pete lives in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliot.
The movie opens in the U.S. on August 12, 2016.
