Disney to livestream Disney’s Riviera Resort grand opening ceremony

Disney is planning another livestream event – this one is the grand opening of the 15th Disney Vacation Club resort – Disney’s Riviera Resort at Walt Disney World.

The livestream will take place on the Disney Parks Blog on Dec. 16, 2019, at 9:55 am. EST.

The resort is being touted by Disney as “celebrating the grandeur of Europe—which has long inspired some of the greatest Disney stories with its castles and fairy-tale villages.”

The resort has a number of options including the Tower Studios, 1-Bedroom Villas, 2-Bedroom Villas and 3-Bedroom Grand Villas. 

The main lobby is a mixture modern and classic 20th-Century furnishings with an art collection celebrating Disney Characters and icons. The resort’s exterior will have gardens, fountains, a lush landscape and a waterfront.

It also has a stop on the Disney Skyliner that will connect you to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
