Getting married at Disney World has gained in popularity over the years.
Couples from every state in the U.S. and international locations such as Japan, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands travel to Disney World.

Disney World, according to wedding industry experts, is one of the top-ranked venues for destination weddings, honeymoons and is now becoming a growing engagement destination.
Here are five fun facts about Disney weddings:
1. About 1,200 couple get married at Walt Disney World each year.
2. Over 50,000 plus couples get married at Disney Word, Disneyland, Aulani and Disney Cruise Lines since 1991.
3. Wedding prices begin at $5,000 for Escape Wedding Collection for up to 18 guests. Wishes Wedding Collection ceremonies start at $12,000.
4. The first wedding at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion was televised live June 18, 1995, on Lifetime Television as part of its “Weddings of a Lifetime” series.
5. At least twice throughout the history of the Walt Disney World Marathon, couples have stopped mid-race to get married in front of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom.
