Beaches and Cream Soda Shop to close in summer for refurbishment

One of our favorite ice cream shops, Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at the Beach Club Resort, will close for refurbishment to improve its layout.

Starting in early August 2019, the shop will close and is planned to reopen in December 2019 with a possibly a bit more space. The to-go windowns will also be closed. The arcade that is adjacent to the shop will also close to make more room for the shop.

While closed, there will be a temporary place at the Yacht and Beach Club offering ice cream, but you’ll have to wait for the famed Kitchen Sink until Beaches and Cream opens.

Guests can continue making reservations to dine at Beaches and Cream through Aug. 5, 2019.
