Character greetings to be closed in Hollywood Studios at Disney World in anticipation of Star Wars construction

Character meet and greets at Hollywood Studios will close in anticipation of upcoming construction of the new Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land.

Both WDWMagic and WDW News Today are reporting that the Phineas and Ferb, and the Cars character meet and greats as well as the Joffrey’s coffee kiosk will close at the end of Jan. 4, 2016.

In addition, Disney previously announced the Premier Theater will be removed as part of the expansion.

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights display is shut off Jan. 3, 2016 and will not return. Disney has not yet announced when the Streets of America, where the lights are on display, will be closed.
