The sound of a tables being overturned during a fight on a patio caused some patrons at Bongos Cuban Cafe at Disney Springs to mistakenly think gunshots were being fired and rush the exit with some being trampled, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

The fight took place after a patron, upset for the long wait for the food, asked to speak to the manager. The managers apologized for the long wait on Christmas Day. The patron started cursing and pushing the manager, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office told the newspaper.

The incident took place on the second floor patio. At some point during the fight a few tables fell over. “So the people on the first floor below heard noises that sounded like ‘bang, bang,’ and as a result some of them ran out and created the chaos,” Mark Weissberg, director of operations at Bongo’s Orlando, told the paper.

Some of the people running out were trampled.

No shots were ever fired.
