Disney’s Aladdin musical at Disneyland by the numbers

After 13 years “Disney’s Aladdin- A Musical Spectacular” will be closing at the California Adventure at Disneyland on Jan. 10, 2016.

The show, which debuted Jan. 16, 2003, is based on the movie and has entertained more than 13 million visitors, according to Disney.

The puppets in the show, including the original Iago and Elephant, were created by Michael Curry Designs, the same team that designed the Tick Tock the Croc seen in “Fantasmic!” and the Sebastian puppet in “Mickey and the Magical Map.”
