After a little more than year as the entertainment on the Mill Stage in front of the Canada Pavilion in Epcot, the Canadian Lumberjacks have been canceled, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The group of hearty me competed in axe-throwing, speed sawing and of course, the fun log-rolling in a pool in front of the stage.
The Canadian Holiday Voyageurs return starting Friday as part of the holiday entertainment, a Disney World spokesperson told the newspaper. No one announcement was made as to who would then headline the stage in January once the holiday season ended.
The Canadian Lumberjacks took the stage over in 2014 from Off Kilter, a Celtic rock band, who had done a fantastic job for 17 years of rocking up traditional Celtic tunes as well as tunes from Canadian artists, such as Bachman-Turner Overdrive’s “Takin’ Care of Business.”
