What’s new on the menu at Pecos Bill’s at the Magic Kingdom
We’ve never understood the appeal of the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe at the Magic Kingdom — unless it’s the fixin’s bar, where you could find enough pickles or mushrooms or onions to disguise the underwhelming hamburgers.
Whatever its appeal, Pecos Bill’s is perennially listed among the “best counter service” choices at the Magic Kingdom.
Its fans might be disappointed tomorrow when a new menu rolls out. Gone are the burgers and fries, replaced by a Tex-Mex menu of fajitas and burritos. But the fixin’s bar survives — this time with pico de gallo, guacamole and corn salsa among the choices.
The biggest draw of the new Pecos Bill menu might be one of the desserts: mini churros with chocolate dipping sauce.
We don’t know what this means for Tortuga Tavern, which serves burritos and taco salads right around the corner from Pecos Bill’s.
Here’s a look at some of the new offerings, introduced today on the Disney Parks Blog.
