Vans to release new Disney collections in October

Here’s something that might give you a grin as wide as the Cheshire Cat’s: New Disney designs coming soon from Vans, including a psychedelic lace-up shoe that pays homage to a certain smiling feline.

The first Vans collaboration with Disney — featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Winnie the Pooh — was wildly successful when it was released last spring, with many styles selling out quickly.

The new “Young at Heart” collection features characters from the classic animated films “Alice in Wonderland,” “101 Dalmatians” and “The Jungle Book.” In addition to slip-on and lace-up sneaker styles, look for raglans, t-shirts, hats, socks, backpacks and fleece.

The new collections will be released Oct. 9 at Vans and other participating retailers. Here’s an early look:
