Jedi Training Academy to close for refurbishment at Hollywood Studios

The Jedi Training Academy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will have its final shows on Oct. 4, 2015 for some revamping, WDWMagic.com reports.

According to a mention on the DISboards, the attraction will re-open Dec. 1, 2015 and is expected to continue next to Star Tours.

The academy is one of the most popular attractions for kids as a Jedi Master teaches the kids to wield a lightsaber by using The Force, all culminating with a battle against the big baddie himself – Darth Vader.

Disney has previously said the revamped academy will have a new villain from the “Star Wars Rebels” and a new background.
