Sharpen your pencils for Star Wars Rebels fan art contest
Are you as artistic as Sabine spray-painting a TIE fighter? Then this is your chance to show off: The Star Wars Rebels Season Two Fan Art Contest.
Now through Aug. 31, you can send in your own original art for a chance to win cool prizes — but mostly bragging rights. One grand prize winner will get a prize pack including a $200 credit at DarkInkArt.com; two runners up will win prize packs with a $100 credit at DarkInkArt.com.
The rules encourage artists to be original — “put your own artistic inspiration on the Star Wars Rebels Season 2 franchise.”
Remember: Ahsoka Tano joined the Rebels at the end of the first season, and Darth Vader looms over season two. That alone should fan the flames of your imagination. Or perhaps you’d prefer to design your own Rebel Tie Fighter.
Some of my favorite Star Wars inspired art is this series of retro travel posters featuring destinations like Endor, Hoth and Tatooine.
The point is, the galaxy is the limit.
